Andre Jacob Roubo’s L'Art du Menuisier introduced me to a workbench as beautiful as it was functional. The workbench’s most expressive detail was the principal inspiration for the Rubo table, a thru tenon and dovetail cut from the massive legs trimmed flush with the worksurface.
