A café designed and built as part of a manufactury fit out for Perenn as part of their production kitchen and bakery facilityin an industrial warehouse in Nashville. The decision was made to invite the public in and see firsthand how their goods are made and we designed a small counter and ground floor market with a dark and moody mezzanine providing a cozy place to work and enjoy a pastry.
The second floor mezzanine at Oak Barrel, in its earthen tones was built into and around the existing truss system of the building.A bespoke paneling and banquette line the room and include a site built divided light window system offering guests a chance to look down to the bakery floor below, evoking the factory offices of times long gone.Custom Chandelier over the pastry counter
Windows at the front of the cafe overlook a riverside terrace in historic Franklin TN. a new bar counter provides a wonderful yet casual option for single patrons to enjoy a coffee and the morning paper.
The Meadow lighting collection was develloped concurrent to the project, pictured are the first run of fixtures from which the collection grew.
